Hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas and feel suitably relaxed/stuffed/merry after the break!
It’s true what they say, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Turns out, this exact thing happened to me with my first every attempt at Blogmas. I only decided on about the 29th November that I was going to embark on Blogmas – I’m now lol’ing at my naivety. Loads of blogger embarked on Blogmas and I loved reading their content and feeling super inspired (and Christmassy). I felt like I could definitely take that on….NOPE.
I had barely planned any content and subsequently had no photos. The original plan had been to post every other day, therefore allowing myself enough time to gather some content, I just happened to forget that December is the busiest month of the social calendar. Putting up the tree, present shopping, fake Christmas day, seeing friends, birthdays, Christmas parties – it was never going to happen. So, anyway, lesson learnt for next year. Plan and prepare content early – it’s not something that you just rush in to.
After some time to get over my Blogmas failure, I am now completely ready for kicking off 2017 on the blog. I have lots of content to write and am excited for what 2017 may bring! Anyways, that’s enough rambling. I’m going to write some new posts and I’ll see you in 2017.
Thanks for reading and have a great NYE, whatever your plans!
