As you may have seen, I recently went to The Ned for their Sunday Feast. Knowing that we were heading to an all-you-can-eat situation, wearing an outfit with an elastic waistband was an obvious choice. Skinny jeans were definitely out. Not to mention that this was actually one of the days of summer that y’know, felt like summer, rather than this autumn-like weather that we’ve been having recently. So, just in case the sun does decide to put his hat on again, here’s a perfect outfit for brunching/lunching/exploring/drinks/BBQing.
I realised this summer that I had a huge midi-skirt deficit in my wardrobe so did some Boohoo shopping to try and remedy this. This pale pink skirt from Boohoo is a great addition to the wardrobe. It’s floaty and has an elasticated waist so is super comfy for days when you know that you’re going to be eating ALL of the food.
This little H&M t-shirt is a great wardrobe staple. It goes with everything and I really like the cute, floaty cap sleeves. They make it look a tad dressier than your usual t-shirt but at the same point it works really well with jeans and trainers for a super-casual look.
I desperately needed some new black gladiator sandals (my trusted ones from Primark sadly died last year), and these ones from New Look were the perfect find. So far I’ve only been able to find them online. They’re so so comfy – great for walking, I wore them to death in Nice as they were perfect for trekking around the city.
Bag-wise I opted for my faithful Zara tote. It’s such a good size, perfect for fitting in my camera for inevitable blog photos, as well as all of the other usual handbag items. I bought this back in January but it’s still available and for only £20, it’s an absolute bargain.
