After spending a good 30 minutes procrastinating and perusing the Zara website, I finally found the items that I’m going to be linking to below! If you follow me on Insta then you will have probably seen that a couple of weeks ago I went on a trip to Portugal. We spent a couple of days in Lisbon followed by a couple of days in Porto and it was such a nice holiday! Obviously the scenery, food and wine all played a part in that. But also the weather was spot on! It was about 17/18 degrees and bright sunshine. It was so lovely to get some sunshine and be able to explore a city without being wrapped up in 4736 layers. I’d been lucky enough to get some Zara vouchers for Christmas so before my hols, I popped along and bought a couple of pieces which were perfect for the weather in Portugal.
This grey midi coat (£29.99) is my new favourite item in my wardrobe. Annoyingly after washing it, it does seem to have shrunk a bit – think I’m going to wash it again and stretch it when it’s still damp. But, that aside, it’s the perfect light weight coat for holidays. The grey colour goes with EVERYTHING and it’s so warm. As it’s oversized, it means that you can easily snuggle up into it when it gets a bit cooler in the evenings. I can’t wait for it to get warmer here so that I can wear it again.
In this pic, I paired the coat with this khaki green long sleeved top (£12.99). It’s a-line in shape, meaning that it’s perfect for covering up the post-tapas food baby, and it works with a vest top underneath for a little bit more warmth if needed. I like the little bit of black pleather piping on the neckline too – it’s v understated but just adds a bit more detail to the top too.
For the ultimate in city-break comfort, I opted for a pair of skinny jeans and my trusted Adidas Gazelles. Basically meaning that I was ready to take on the many, many hills of Lisbon and Porto!
